Ben came to chimp Management having obtained MSc level education within the area of sport and exercise psychology. Ben has published research and numerous years of applied experience in this area, most notably working in the USA with various Olympic and Paralympic athletes.
As a psychological skills mentor, Ben offers psychological support and training, both at an individual and team level to athletes/coaches and other support team staff. He currently works with GB Taekwondo in helping athletes and staff in their preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games. In addition to this, Ben works with Hong Kong Jockey Club, an elite equestrian organisation with athletes and staff based worldwide.
Within Chimp Management Ltd, Ben has also provided psychological support within 1:1’s and workshops for various elite and world-class sports teams, including Liverpool Football Academy, British Equestrian Federation, GB Cycling, Nissan GT Academy and British Canoe Polo.
Outside of sport, Ben has used the Chimp model to offer psychological support and training within schools and colleges through facilitating workshops and presentations to students and teachers across the country.
Ben is extremely supportive and very professional. The work that we have been doing has really
helped me progress in and outside of sport, and has provided me with great insight and
perspective on mind management during competition and in daily life.
