No Cost and No Travelling Involved – Join Us From Home

Exclusively Developed for the Performing Arts

COVID-19 and its public health response has had a devastating impact on the performing arts, from those on stage or screen to the numerous behind the scenes workers and organisations involved in every production.

Over the past seven months, those employed in the industry have experienced huge uncertainty and loss and there is still a long, uncertain journey ahead for all.

Here at Chimp Management, we have been successfully working with individuals and companies in the performing arts for many years.

Now, in recognition of the devastating impact of COVID-19, we are offering a day of free webinars and support, specially developed for all those in the performing arts who are in need.

The event will take place on the 24th November 2020 and will be hosted by Dr Anna Waters, a performance psychologist with over 15 years of experience working in the performing arts.

About The Day

Anna Waters 1

Pictured: Dr Anna Waters delivering a keynote and Q&A at a performing arts conference. Anna will be the lead mentor during the day.

Our mentors enable artists to gain insight into their unique situation and help them develop practical tools and techniques to be able to manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviours more effectively.

The day has been designed to help you understand your mind and to help you to develop skills that you will be able to apply in the changing world we are all currently living in.

The first webinar of the day will introduce The Chimp Model, a mind management model developed by Professor Steve Peters. The Chimp Model simplifies the complex neuroscience of the mind, using a simplified and common language so you can better understand and manage your emotions.

In the second session, we will look at how we can apply The Chimp Model in our everyday lives, with practical guidance on how to cope with COVID-19 and it’s effects on the performing arts.

Finally, a question and answer session at the end of the day will give you a chance to ask our team of mentors questions and consolidate what you have learnt.
