NHS’ Nursing Times Workforce Awards
A few members of our team were invited to attend the recent awards ceremony at the Hilton Metropole in London on 21st November. Deputy CEO Beverley Nesbitt, Client Services Director Simon Jones, and Psychological Skills Mentor Dean Coomer joined the RDaSH (Rotherham, Doncaster & South Humberside) Grounded Research Team to represent Chimp Management as one of 12 finalists for the best Staff Wellbeing Initiative.
We were delighted to receive the nomination following the ground breaking research trial with the RDaSH NHS Trust and the University of Sheffield, looking into The Chimp Model and its effectiveness on burnout and wellbeing for 200 mental health nurses who went through the programme. This first trial in to The Model highlighted that the Mind Management Skills for Life programme is effective in reducing occupational burnout and improving psychological wellbeing.
Whilst we didn’t take home first prize, it was an honour to for the research to be recognised alongside so many inspiring Health Care Professionals from the NHS.
You can learn more about the research into The Model, and the resuts from our trial here.
