Personalise your experience

You will have the flexibility to customise your experience by choosing 2 out of the 3 key themes that resonate most with you. You will hear from Professor Steve Peters in two keynote sessions and take part in six workshops led by our Mentors.

Theme 1
Resilience and Navigating Tough Times

  • Workshop 1: The Myth of Mental Resilience
Recognise your existing resilience, understand how modern pressures weaken it, and develop practical strategies to restore and maintain it.
  • Workshop 2: What Is Normal and Why Self-Perception Matters
Explore how self-perception influences challenges, consider who defines “normal” and why it matters to the Chimp, and learn how to adapt when these norms are challenged.
  • Workshop 3: Navigating Transitions in Life
Identify common life transitions and their challenges, recognise unhelpful reactions, and develop strategies to accept change while finding purpose and growth.

Theme 2
Optimising Interactions with Others

  • Workshop 1: Getting the Best Out of Others
Examine the importance of self-awareness in relationships, explore dual perspectives in interactions, and consider whether you are meeting the needs of others.
  • Workshop 2: Dealing with Difficult People
Understand why some people may seem “difficult,” examine your beliefs about them, and develop strategies to reset interactions and agree on behaviours.
  • Workshop 3: How to Have Difficult Conversations
Explore why certain conversations feel “difficult,” consider beliefs about conflict, and develop a plan to communicate effectively and navigate challenges.

Theme 3
Improving Performance – The 3 Teams in Harmony

  • Workshop 1: The Pitfalls of Being Too Human
Examine the role of the Human in optimal performance, explore how success and failure are defined by the Chimp and Human, and identify ways to prevent Human processing from interfering with performance.
  • Workshop 2: How the Computer Can Help or Hinder
Understand the Computer’s role in optimising performance, recognise how it can both support and undermine progress, and develop strategies to programme it effectively.
  • Workshop 3: Harnessing the Strengths of Your Chimp
Learn how to harness your Chimp’s key drives and integrate them into your Human’s plans. Explore the Troop and Security drives and how to use them to enhance performance.
