Most of us can recognise the importance of physical fitness for our overall health, but what about our emotional and psychological wellbeing? Psychological wellbeing means keeping your mind and emotional health in good shape.
This often gets neglected despite most of us recognising that much of our personal and professional lives require a high level of psychological wellbeing to be successful.
In this workshop we will use the neuroscience of how our minds work in conjunction with the tools and techniques from The Chimp Model, to look at what psychological wellbeing is. The session will explore the potential benefits of being mentally fit, versus the possible consequences if it is neglected. It will explore some of the common mental health conditions and use The Chimp Model to explore treatments and prognosis for specific disorders.
