Creating High Performance
When observing any performer delivering at optimal performance, it often appears effortless. We all know that high achievement does not occur by chance, it takes years of dedicated training, commitment and mental resilience to continuously deliver.
By understanding the neuroscience of what happens in our minds during peak performance, we can learn how to manage our minds more effectively to deliver at our best, rather than be hijacked by unhelpful or destructive patterns of thinking and behaviours that can get in the way of achieving our goals.
The session will examine what makes a high performing team and how this team is maintained.
Session Structure
Using The Chimp Model we examine high performance in individuals and teams and use the neuroscience to help gain insight into what happens in our minds when we deliver optimal performance.
The session will explore how teams can become high performing by considering areas such as empowerment, accountability, inclusiveness, team identity and collaboration. Delegates will learn skills and techniques from The Chimp Model to take back and apply to the teams in their professional and personal lives.
