One Day Seminar

What to expect

Join us for a one-day seminar at The Coach House, where you’ll take part in small-group discussions led by a Chimp Management Mentor. These relaxed and supportive sessions focus on key psychological skills to help you understand your mind, manage emotions, and navigate everyday challenges.

With a maximum of 10 participants, each seminar is interactive and discussion based. You’ll have time to reflect, share experiences, and take away practical strategies that feel relevant to you.

What’s Included?

Your delegate rate includes arrival refreshments and a working lunch, allowing you to focus fully on the session in a comfortable and informal setting.

Need Accommodation?

If you’d prefer to arrive the night before, we offer optional overnight stays at our Coach House in the Peak District. You’ll have your own en-suite room, access to shared kitchen facilities, and the seminar takes place in the welcoming living room space.

More about Sarah

From Sarah

During this seminar, we’ll explore how challenging situations and injustice can leave us at the mercy of our Chimp’s reaction, often creating a sense of crisis. Together, we’ll sensitively and supportively discuss how these normal but unhelpful responses can be transformed into more helpful ones from our Human. I’m really looking forward to welcoming you into a peaceful, restorative space to pause, reflect, and find a Human-led, Chimp-friendly way forward.

More about Ben

From Ben

My aim is to create a psychologically safe and supportive environment for people to connect and grow together. In this seminar, I’m excited to explore ‘people pleasing’—helping you reflect on any unhelpful patterns, understand why they occur, and learn practical strategies to manage them. Being in a small group, in a quiet setting, offers a great opportunity to disconnect, focus on yourself, and develop meaningful insights that lead to lasting change

Putting Yourself First Without Guilt

Do you often find yourself trying to please others, sometimes at the expense of your own needs? Perhaps you’ve looked back and thought, “I wish I hadn’t done that as much,” or “I wish I had prioritised myself more and been more assertive with others, maybe even said no a little more often.”

Guided by Ben Davies, this seminar will help you to:

  • Understand what people-pleasing is and where it stems from
  • Recognise when it helps—and when it hinders
  • Discover practical tools to manage unhelpful people-pleasing behaviours
  • Develop a personal action plan for lasting change
