General Manager (with sales experience)

Contract: Full time

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday with flexibility

Salary: Depending on experience – (Salaried position with no commission)

Start Date: Flexible

Location: Chapeltown, Sheffield S35 

* Location may move to the main offices in the Peak District within 18-months – 2 years.

Support/handover will be provided from the current General Manager and Director to ensure the successful candidate has the right support and information 

 

Duties and responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with Managing Directors
  • Hands-on role in the running of the business and understanding our range of services
  • Managing the Operations Team at our Main Office in the north of Sheffield
  • Provide support and feedback in all aspects of the team’s roles within the Operations Team
  • Leading on the day-to-day running of our sales enquiries
  • Negotiating and re-negotiating contracts
  • Continuing our high standards of customer care satisfaction
  • Maximising profitable sales of products and services
  • Retention and management of existing customers/contracts and including development of new sales opportunities
  • Identification of new clients via enquiries, conferences and events to create sales
  • Following up on opportunities that come in via our marketing and social media to create sales
  • Liaise with Managing Directors to identify new opportunities and areas of business
