About us:

The Chief Executive Officer, Professor Steve Peters, set up Chimp Management Ltd in November 2012 in order to support people with their psychological health and wellbeing. The company works within various sectors including health services, sport, corporate work, education and with the general public.

At Chimp Management, we specialise in mentoring people to learn the skill of mind management. Using the Chimp Model, we help people to understand how the mind is structured and functions and help people to get the best out of themselves and others.

About the job:

We are seeking to recruit a like-minded member to our team who shares our values and is eager to learn and apply the Chimp Model in order to help others.

This post is particularly suited to someone who enjoys presenting keynotes and running workshops to large and small groups. We use specific development programmes that can be applied to teams and individuals in both their personal and professional lives. Other work includes one-to-one work with clients.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, likes teamwork, enjoys continuous development, is not afraid of hard work and who is looking for a long-term commitment.

 

Working hours: Your working hours will be very flexible and appropriate to fulfilling the needs of the post and will be approximately 40 hours per week.

 

Salary:  will be negotiable depending on qualifications and experience with an annual review. The post attracts six weeks paid annual leave

 

Continuing Professional Development & Training:

The successful candidate will undertake an induction process, which includes supervision, work shadowing, co-facilitation, and assessments. Mentors within the company undertake regular professional development and supervision.

 

Location

The candidate is expected to be based at our new conference centre, currently under construction in the peak district at SK17 8EY. However, various locations across the UK and outside of it will be used and will involve travel. The ideal candidate will therefore reside within commuting distance of the new centre but be flexible and enjoy travel.

Qualifications

  • Member of BPS
  • Medical qualifications
  • Counselling qualifications
  • Or appropriate equivalent professional qualifications and training
