Digital Communications and Content Executive

Contract: Full time

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday with flexibility

Reporting to: Client Services Director

Salary: 37.5hrs per week as required by the needs of the business

Location: Chimp Management Office in Chapeltown with travel as required by the business

* Location may move to the main offices in the Peak District within 2 years.

Role Purpose:

The Digital Marketing Executive’s role is to help the company to reach and engage new audiences via our current and new digital channels. The right person will be able to help us to improve, evolve, and develop our client’s digital experience. They will ensure that our content provides a clear understanding of how our range of programmes, workshops, courses, and mentoring can help to support individuals and teams to get the best out of themselves and others. Whilst the main purpose of the Digital Marketing Executive’s role will be to develop and improve our digital communications. There will be scope to use or develop other interests or skill sets you may have to help in other areas of our business. Such as copywriting, photography, filming, editing, design, events, social media to name a few.

Responsibilities:

• Updating and managing company websites

• Working alongside the Client Services Director to develop and deliver a digital strategy

• Interpreting data to help improve the digital experience

• Increasing the performance, ranking and authority of the website using Google best practice

• Supporting and guiding our team in developing creative content / blogs / posts

• Managing and increasing our mailing lists and serving helpful and useful content

• Growing our online memberships by raising awareness of the benefits and support it offers

• Helping to reach new audiences and growing the business by generating more enquiries from digital activity

• Linking our social channels to our web content

• Regular reporting to highlight successes and opportunities

• Supporting the team with other duties as may be required .

Duties:

• Loading and editing digital content

• Writing and editing content

• Increasing the reach of our blogs and content via 3rd party channels

• Analysing digital usage and using data to improve our user experience (UX) and conversion

• General website management • Supporting a small ecommerce platform

• Search engine optimisation (SEO)

• Monthly proactive digital communications to our mailing list

• Creating and delivering digital tactical campaigns

• Working with our Social Media Executive to increase links to our site

• Weekly reporting

Preferred Experience:

WordPress or equivalent SEO Understanding of HTML & CSS

Google Analytics

Google Workspace (G-suite)

Mailchimp or equivalent Transactional website knowledge also an advantage

Desirable skills:

Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign)

Engaging audiences within the education, NHS, and private organisations

Understanding of the learning and development / HR sectors

Knowledge of affiliate marketing an advantage

Client Services Executive

The Client Services Executive’s role is to handle incoming enquiries from potential clients to help them to understand how our services can support them, and where appropriate converting their interest into business for the company.

Whilst the main purpose of the role will be to support our clients with their enquiries and ensure the smooth delivery of our workshops and courses. There will be scope to use or develop other interests or skill sets you may have to help us in other areas of our business. Such as copywriting, photography, filming, editing, design, events, social media to name a few.

Responsibilities:

  • To answer and respond to incoming client enquiries via email and phone
  • Logging client details into our CRM system
  • Understanding client requirements and proposing appropriate solutions to support their objectives
  • Handling and arranging client meeting and call backs
  • Developing and writing proposals
  • Handing over of agreements and briefing of mentors
  • Handling and arranging client meetings and call backs
  • Collating and recording client feedback

Duties

  • • Handle incoming client enquiries via email and phone
  • Maintaining the CRM system
  • Writing of proposals and quotes
  • Supporting and following up on client enquiries
  • Liaising with mentors and booking deliveries into their dairy
  • Supporting and briefing mentors on potential and confirmed work
  • Arranging for handovers in preparation for operational delivery
  • Client follow up calls post event to record satisfaction, success and feedback
  • Completion of client agreements
  • Support in collating weekly reports

Preferred Experience:

Handling and managing of sales enquiries via phone and email

Experienced in customer service

Managing multiple diaries and appointments

Use of CRM systems

Data entry and input

Desirable Skills:

    Consultative / solutions led thinker

    Highly organised

    Excellent attention to detail

    Understanding of MS software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

    Google workspace (G-Suite)

    Ability to multi-task

    Previously worked within a learning and development / training environment an advantage, but not essential
