Digital Communications and Content Executive

Contract: Full time

Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday with flexibility

Salary: Depending on experience – available immediately (Salaried position with no commission)

Location: Chapeltown, Sheffield S35 

* Location may move to the main offices in the Peak District within 2 years.

The ideal applicant

We are looking to appoint someone to our small but busy team who shares our values and can help us with the work that we do. We are keen to find the right person to join us, rather than requesting specific qualifications or experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Updating and managing the website and content on a daily basis
  • Developing content to help more people searching online find our services
  • Working alongside the mentors to create new content
  • Improving access and navigation of the website so visitors can find information easily
  • Creating and sending useful Chimp news and products to those that wish to receive this from us
  • Helping to grow our online Troop by raising awareness of the benefits and support available
  • Developing and growing our business by generating more enquiries from our online activity.
  • Linking our social channels to our web content
  • Supporting the team with other duties as may be required.

Experience:

  • WordPress
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Workspace (G-suite)
  • Mailchimp
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photoshop
  • InDesign

Accustomed to engaging audiences within the education, NHS and private organisations

An understanding of the learning and development / HR sectors an advantage

In order for yourself and ourselves to ensure that we have selected the most suitable candidate for this position, there will be three interview stages. After each point, there will be a shortlist that will carry on to the next stage of our selection process.

  • First Stage: A short ten to fifteen minutes virtual meeting. This will enable you and us to assess whether this is a role that you would be suitable for.
  • Second Stage: Meeting those you would mainly be working with at an Open Day, held on the 14th/15th May at the Chimp Management Office, Sheffield S35 2PH.
  • Third Stage: Structured interviews will be held on the 24th May at the same location.

  • Handle all internal IT requirements on software and hardware
  • Support and resolve incoming IT queries and issues for the business and our team
  • Develop and manage the company IT inventory and procurement of software and hardware
  • Manage and lead on IT policy and auditing to ensure the company limits its digital risk for employees and its clients
  • Maintaining and updating GDPR compliance across all areas of the business
  • Management and development of digital payment platforms
  • Maintaining the security of sensitive client data and personal records
  • Maintenance and application of software and hardware solutions to improve efficiency and service to our team and clients whilst offering best possible value for the business
  • Ensuring that the company and its employees are aware of and adhere to IT policies
  • Building and development of reports using our internal software and data
  • Any other duties that the business may reasonably ask.
